Whether you require Clearview to attend your property to obtain samples of suspected asbestos materials, or you have samples that you wish to drop into our laboratory, you can be assured that we will provide you with a compliant service with test results issued promptly.
Our sampling service allows us to identify asbestos within either customer-supplied samples or samples taken on-site by a member of our team. Samples will always be collected in a safe, controlled manner to minimise the risk of fibres being released into the air. These samples will then be analysed in our own accredited laboratory by our highly trained team.

Each sample is opened within a dust cabinet, placed in a disposable petri dish and visually examined. The samples are then treated with specific chemicals that react with the fibres. By using a method called polarised light microscopy, the fibres are then identified by means of various characteristics that enable the analyst to identify if the sample fibres are asbestos or not. If asbestos is present then the type of asbestos fibre within the sample can be identified. On completion of the analysis, the results are recorded within our database and a report generated and issued to the customer.

Bulk Sample Analysis
Our sampling service allows us to identify asbestos within either client-supplied samples, or visit your site to collect samples for analysis. Samples will always be collected in a safe, controlled manner to minimise the risk of fibres being released into the air.
Once collected, these samples will be analysed in bulk at our laboratory by our highly trained team. Our asbestos testing lab is UKAS-accredited and once testing is complete, we will provide a bulk analysis report for your records.
